THE TROJAN HORSE'S PREMONITION HATH COME.
Low and Behold the Trojan Horse! Appearing overnight, the horse stands as a premonition of the invasion and onslaught that is to come
with the demolition of the former Leo Cooke Warehouse to make way for placeless structures by a large national developer.
The miniature scale of the defiant horse in comparison to its surroundings suggests a dim outcome to the last stand by those who see these
industrial structures as an incredible asset to a city that is every day becoming more and more faceless despite its very rich history.

What and from where we see, what we call perspective or point of view,
is framed not so much by the lense but by the cracks, the gaps and ruins.
The displaced relics of the past carry with them a story, a
history by nature of the longevity
that helps to ground us with a
place. Hanging Shutters challenges us to contemplate the
environments constructed around us today and questions whether that
story still has chances to resonate.
